Back Ground

 

Nile University is the nucleus and fastest growing point of its predecessor ‘Nile College,’ The initiative was spearheaded by Nile Higher Education Group (NHEG) Ltd. NHEG was founded in 2007 by a group of nationally and internationally recognized professors from the University of Khartoum who hold consultant posts both in the Sudan and abroad all of the leaders of this group have studied and worked in international Universities and organizations.

The main thrust of the Educational Processes aims at what the acronym QCCC, stands for: Quality, Competence, Confidence and Culture. 

Spelled out in more eloquent terms we aim at provision of Quality education with three major purposes in mind: first, Professional competence of our graduates who should have acquired personal as well as professional Confidence, as well as width of vision and ethics that come with exposure to National, regional and international Culture. We aim at graduating an educated professional.

 

 

 

Why Nile University

Nile University offers educational opportunities to over 4000 Students Including fifty International Students enrolled as full-time students in the faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy, Med Lab Science and Nursing, Business Studies, Information Technology and Software Engineering.

Nile University offers a healthy, supportive and disciplined environment for staff and students. Its faculties offer Degrees structured according to international standards. This allows Graduates to register for Postgraduate studies in international Universities & Professional Colleges in the US, Canada & the United Kingdom. 

  1. There is evidence that Nile University foreign graduates did well in their home Medical Council Registration Examination. They also did well in the US, USMLE (Medical Licensing Examinations) and the PLAB test of the United Kingdom.
  2. Our graduates are gaining acceptance and registration in the US, ECFMG and the GMC, UK. 
  3. The registration on NU with the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) has been completed this year.
  4. Business Studies, B Sc. Accounting, B Sc. Information Technology and Software Engineering Degrees are attracting students from countries of the region.
  5. One of Nile University strengths include the attentiveness to practical and clinical work experiences. the necessary to develop the professional competences as specified by international standards.
